I guess that's one way of looking at it.

High demand my ass.

Toyota failed epically with the tundra. F-series and GMT-900s own the turdra.

If Toyota produced 1 Tundra for each dealership, I think it would take weeks to sell them all. That truck is simply inferior, and most buyers are aware. I feel bad for the ones open-minded enough to consider a truck from a piss-poor truck manufacturer because they're already familiar with the great American truck.

I'd call it close-minded enough to truly believe that everything Toyota makes is "good".

I see roughly one Tundra every three days. (work at a Lumber company right now...). That's three too many.

the japs do make decent cars, ill be honest, but the tundra is not their greatest piece of work, they still dont know how to make a v8, dont think they ever will, nissan included, and honda does have interesting features on their ridgeline, but their big motors blow rice balls, plus there is no translation for truck in japanese

Irony? The 5.7L V8 engine is the only part of the Tundra worth having.

Toyota’s global manufacturing chief, Takeshi Uchiyamada, said that the problems with the 2007 Tundra have brought “shame” to the Japanese automaker. Since its launch earlier this year, the Tundra has experienced problems with faulty camshafts and torque converters, as well as cracking tailgates. The Tundra V8 was also bumped from Consumer Reports’ recommended list earlier this year.

Not to mention the frame rust through issue with the earlier models.

Even Toyota knows they stink!

The Tundra was the whole reason CR completely changed the way they rate new cars. CR no longer recommends a new car/truck based solely on the a manufacturers past new car history.
