Such a shame

http://www.metrolyrics.com/wrong-sid...video-iwz.html
It is such a shame that this happens because certain people think they "deserve" certain things for whatever reason. It's a shame these vets can't get the help they need because of people driving around in $50 to $70,000 cars and living in $300 - $400,000 houses that feel they "deserve" gov't assistance like food stamps or whatever and cheat the system to get it. So when honest people who are really down and out try to get help they can't because it is being stolen by so many others. This has nothing to do with politics. It is more about people being ignorant and too lazy to go out and make an honest days living instead of living off of those that do and basically stealing from those that are truly in need. Sorry but this stuff just hits home and doesn't make any damn since.

Mods, if you don't like it, delete it. Hopefully it touches a few and gets a msg out before it happens.

Great message from a band that does a lot to support our troops. It is disappointing to see those statistics. Thanks for sharing.

Dude, Just Thanks from a Vet. It is so sad that as Americans we can so easily forget our Soilders. I saw a lot of this with the Vietnam Vets, I thank God I missed that war by just a couple of years, but a lot of returning Vets came thru our Base on the way home. Some of it was good and some bad.

SICK STUFF if you ask me, and I almost wanted to HIJACK the thread that was created to CELEBRATE OSCAR'S DEATH ......Pathetic ...
...I think you're overreacting. Just sayin'.

It makes me sad then mad and it's not an exclusive US problem. We have a lot of our military men and women coming home broken and we are just not taking the proper care of them. Canada is suppose to be a social democratic society and we use to have programs to look after people in need, including our vets.

It is a political issue for us as we have a Conservative government who is more concerned about giving tax breaks to corporations then looking after our own citizens and making sure they are OK. Military, mental health, disabled or whatever their issue is diserves to be looked after in a civilized world. We can make a difference not just by donation and volunteering but by voting and making sure our politicians know what it is we want and hold them accountable.

And, thanks to all who serve so that I have the freedom to rant and rave as I please.

It’s sad when warriors fall on hard times, and are over looked by the public. Only .05% of the population has relatives who served or actually served in the Military. Because of that, very few people understand the commitment, pressure and risk the Warriors have VOLUNTEERED to take on. END RANT..
