Toyota FT-HS Sport Coupe

I'm interested to see what will develop from this concept. The thought of a hybrid 400hp V-6 is intriguing.

If they make it, and it looks kinda like that, I'll buy one. Especially if they name it the Supra.

That car has been posted here before. I believe that it has already been killed off. So no that will not make production.

In the eye of the beholder....I don't get batmobile at all...and I'm quite the fan.

But to be honest, I don't (and won't) like any Toyota, at all, ever...so it's easy for me to dislike this mutt.

Towards the bottom is says that Toyota is still working on the Supra replacement. That doesn't mean it will be the FT-HS, but it's more than likely.

If you're one of the few on this site that can keep an open mind about all makes (not just GM) then its worth keeping an eye on cars like the FT-HS concept.

Same concept photo that's been floating around the internet for years. I don't think Toyota has much real interest in a $30,000 hybrid sports car. They dragged their feet for five years on the LF-A and that's going to be a $200,000-$300,000 can't-miss very low production car. Given the fact Toyota has hit a wall like everyone else, I think they'll probably focus on their bread and butter: econo-eggs and dull sedans and SUVs. Best case scenario: you might see a Scion hybrid.
