DOGE is an internet phenomenon that you either love or find it stupid. There is no middle ground. I find people are making memes and pictures with the face and just throwing phrases out that aren't funny in the least, but there are a few gems out there. What I want to know is what exactly started it. Was it the craiglist ad or something even before that?
BTW, DOGE = dog pronouned like DOJO without the last O. |

I first saw the doge meme on an MMA forum that I frequent a couple months ago. I think the "misspelling" of doge happened on a video. from there, it popped up on freakin 4chan. I think this was the original photo used:
