1969 Camaro Z28 Slot Car Track costs $85,000

This is cool and all but $85K ?????????????????

From the article:
This may just be the most awesome slot car track set ever built. It’s not just some table with a track set plastered on top. No, this is a real, full-size 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 with a slot car track built on top of the car itself.

11 pictures and details

Hammacher Schlemmer catalog had that. Also a Le Mans version in which the full-size Porsche opens up to reveal the scale slot-car track.

If I had that kind of money to burn it would be fun to make something like that myself...but not on a car.

I think it is meant to be in a garage or a mansion with huge doors.
