Restomod 1965 Pontiac GTO Convertible

I like what they did with this car, the only thing I would change are the wheels. would get more age appropriate wheels.

From the article:
The Pontiac GTO is one of the best Pontiacs ever made. Its age means that decent cars are few and far between, so finding this amazing restomod with RK Motors is a little bit cool. The 1965 Pontiac GTO Convertible, finished in Nitghtwatch Blue with glossy red pinstripes, has an asking price of $99,900. Given other restomods we’ve come across recently, that’s a bit of a bargain.

That style of wheel was a very popular aftermarket item in the '60s. The style is extremely age-appropriate. The problem is that the wheels are too big for this era car. I would get American racing Torq-Thrusts in 15", and to me, that very '90s "custom" steering wheel is simply godawful. I would put a Pontiac wheel on it, a nice wood rimmed three spoke with the Arrowhead on the horn button

...as an FYI the website that you link to makes my PC lock up solid

I guess the size of the wheel is want makes it too modern, and yea the steering wheel is plain nasty.

I can't see the brakes, but 15's might not fit. I wouldn't mind seeing a set of widened 15" rallye II's on it with the PMD logo centercap. Put about a 315 or 335/50 on the back.

I like the seats!

This would be my steering wheel of choice:
