Loud music and dogs

So i always listen to music really loud unless i am in the car with my dog or on a date.
I have always played the radio really soft when my dog is in the car because of how good dogs' hearing is. However, i was at my friends the other night and he was playing his tv really loud and his dog didn't seem to mind at all, infact the dog fell asleep.
Does anyone know anything about how loud i can play music when my dog is in the car without hurting her hearing?

This is a Camaro forum not a pet forum. Go to a pet forum or call your vet.

I believe a canine's hearing is better than ours in terms of frequency response, not volume. The decibel level should be perceived the same no matter the species but the amount of frequencies a canine hears is greater than a human.

Im too lazy to fact check this on Google right now so please correct me if in wrong.

I guess it would depend on the breed. Canines used in police and combat roles are subjected to gunfire and explosions to gauge their tolerances. If the pooch doesn't like the level your playing at, turn it down.

You are making the thread unnecessarily long with your "messing" with me comments. Contribute productively or not at all.

Humans like loud music, dogs do not. Mother Nature never jived with interference. Unless you want to turn your dog in to a WWI shell shock victim covered in her own shit and piss I would not play loud music around the pooches.
