Talking You're "Not Fooling Anybody"

ever see a store or other business that you could obviously tell it used to be a Pizza Hut or building with 'unique' architecture? check out this site, and feel free to submit your own .

Not Fooling Anybody Website

check out the index, I know I have at least 4 'converted' store/restaurants in my area:

7/11 now a combo Domino's Pizza, and a tanning salon
Pizza Hut now a liquor store
a KFC now a jewelry store
a Long John Silvers now a Chinese buffet

Oh jeez.. I gotta get a pic of the converted LJS in Toledo on Secor. It's now an eye doctors office. XD

Also remembered: The Denny's next door on Secor is now an El Vaqueros Mexican restaurant.. good food, but..you can tell it was a Denny's.

Also had ice cream as a kid here.. never realized it was a white castle carcass until today. o_O

Nowdays not enough cash to just tear up a good solid building.

The plumbing and electrical alone has really gone up.

My fantasy would be to have some wood smoked BBQ. Simple menu.

Not a bunch of things just the basic meats, beans and potato salad. But.. only for me to eat the actual work part would suck.

Someone did that with a video rental place just half a block from my neighborhood. WORST attempt I've ever tried. Every effing rib bone on my rack splintered..wat? Even I make better ribs than that! Sad thing is that they're still open..

Toledo is FULL of these.. Kalamazoo, not so much. :/

I went back to my home town last week and the local dairy queen had been converted into an insurance office. Even more silly was that they had also added on--keeping with the same architectual theme.
