Any Star Wars Junkies or "Highlander" Movie or Series Fans?

I am a HUGE Star Wars fan and loved the original "Highlander" film and the series. Anyone else?

I mean, sure? Say this, I like Star Trek too, but yeah definitely on the Star Wars. And always enjoy the Highlander series, but haven't seen like the last made for tv one or whatever. Anytime Spike shows some or all of the two Star Wars trilogies I'm pretty much glued to the tv even though I have all six films on dvd.

Well then hi!

You should check out the expanded Universe novels about Darth Bane, he set in motion the Sith "Rule of Two". Was hoping wimpy Disney would make the next Star Wars films with the 3 book series about him, but of course nope.

You have the manners of a goat. And you smell like a dung-heap. And you have no knowledge whatsoever of your potential.

I have a small portfolio of photo prints from the original production of Highlander. And if you look hard enough, you can find Queen's "It's a kind of magic" and the original score to the film, which is the closest thing you'll find to the soundtrack

There should be a ton of things coming from Disney in regards to the SW films...

Along with the movies...A live action TV series is also slated for production last I heard...supposedly to follow the characters in early life...

Well my vote was anything with Darth Bane or Darth Malgus, but I am sure they will go family friendly = boring.

Malgus is bad ass:

I hope they learned the lessons of the second trilogy. We'll see.

Oh, one can dream. But unlikely.

Ever since the prequels were made I have had zero confidence that they will make them the way the original fans would want to see...it's all about marketing and grooming the next wave of fans...after I came to that conclusion I was ok with how they turned out...

I am sure the next wave of films will be catered to the new generation of fans that will have their parents spending money on merchandise...Disney is an absolute juggernaut...owning marvel as well...

Yeah, agree. Luckily the expanded universe novels are a real thing. Anyone read "Darth Plagueis"?

The EU stuff is well written...I really enjoyed the stories...even the prequels were not badly written either...the scripts and movies left a lot out...

But sadly I have not read much after EP3... Been too busy making 1:1 costumes and props...mostly for SW...

I don't know why the hate for the prequels movies I think they complete the storyline when you watch them from Episode 1 through 6 back to back. Yea they aren't perfect but Id rather have them then no new star wars movies cause I was quite young and overseas when the originals came out so I never got to see them in theater. I have a lot of faith in Disney and what and how they will do with the new movies that they plan on coming out with cause Disney has had some great movies recently.
