Good job on helping our car companies. Top ten selling cars for CFC.
Well the top 10 selling cars for cash for clunkers has been released.
Be prepaired to see even more japanese cars sales, as they have 7 of the 10 spots. Whos the idiot that thought of letting japanese companies in on a domestic economy boosting policy? http://money.cnn.com/galleries/2009/..._10/index.html |

i have a problem with our tax dollars subsidizing automotive growth... where at in our constitution does it say that we have a right to own a car? not to mention foreign car manufacturers have several plants here that employe thousands of people.... so why shouldn't people have the option of buying a "foreign" car if they wanted to despite the socialised program?

CFC is quickly turning out to be just another foreign aid program. Should've been limited to US automakers only or US-built cars only. Ohhhh the prius guys would hate that...

The whole ****ing point of the program was to stimulate American car sales. I didnt even know that japanese cars were involved until this article came out. I dont want toyota or honda or nissan building their products here. I want them to import them and be taxed out the ass, like we are over there.
Then everyone will complain about job loss. Well if our Government didnt give millions upon millions in tax breaks for them to open plants here. Plus the incentive to not be ****ed over by the UAW....maybe, just maybe there would be more American car plants to fill the spots where japanese plants currently stand. Then your cars wouldnt be made in mexico because GM could afford to swing normal wages and incentives for assembly line work. I bet in mexico they are thankful as shit to have a GM or Ford plant there. Where as in Ameica they just bitch about pay and benifits. [/rant] |
