Is this normal, or am I going back to the dealer?
Just noticed that my side mirrors are different shades. The driver side has a light blue tint just like the rear view mirror, but the passenger side mirror is not. I have a 2LT. Does anybody have this on their C7 or did they mess up?
Thx in advance |

This is due to the auto dim feature.

I assumed it was dimming, but can't understand why both side mirrors wouldn't have it?

1stvette has pointed out in the manual pg2-20 that the outside driver side mirror auto adjusts, apparently it does not on the passenger side.

"The passenger side mirror is convex
shaped. A convex mirror's surface is curved so more can be seen from the driver seat." I don't think they can put the auto dim feature on a curved surface. |

I'm a nerd, I still put mini circle convex mirrors on my side mirrors to avoid annoying cyclists. Haven't seen the mirrors auto adjust yet when in reverse that sounds like a neat feature.

You have to select the reverse feature through Vehicle Personalization, page 5-44.
