Need for speed Rivals Problem

Ok first off let me state its the Ps3 digital version. Game is great fun and a nice blend of hot pursuit and most wanted. The problem I am having with it its atleast three times already it has frozen while playing or right after I bust someone, so I have to turn off and on my Ps3 and restart the game and it goes fine for awhile. But today it did the same thing and now when I reload the game and im in the garage or command post and go to exit it freezes at the loading screen. I hope this doesn't mean I have to restart my game over and start from scratch was I was decently along in the cop career and basically dominating in the aventador lmp 700-4 UC. So if anyone else has this game and is experiencing this condition let me know.

*edit* well I checked some game forums and it seems other people are having this issue as well so I guess I will have to wait for a patch or try playing later on. But it is still a pretty fun game.
