It's an awesome engine. Makes torque all day long.

Now do you feel bad like I do that the 2014 will make even more HP and torque

More so that I couldn't wait for the diesel.

It's quicker than my Sonic. Not as quick as the SS was though. It'll definitely pull on most normal cars, so it'll serve well for road trips and a daily driver. Handles pretty nicely for a SUV too.

Still plan to get a Stingray or ZL1 at some point for the real power trip

I've had a few things go wrong with the S4. Steering replaced completely, sun roof motor. But they take care of you to the point where you don't really think about it. An equivalent car waiting for you with an apology if they have to rent you something. Completely different than when the turbo went out on the Cruze. Had to beg to get a rental because they didn't have any loaners and finally got them to "do me a solid" by getting me a rental. On top of telling my wife it was ok to drive it, "it just won't have boost".

GM has a little further to go to understand true customer service.

So where is that GM Customer Service guy now! Personally I've never had a problem getting a loaner if they have to keep my car for service, which I might add don't happen very often. It may depend on the dealership and how they choose to treat their customers?

Isnt there a like a Hi performance version of this coming out soon? I swear I saw one at the dc auto show this past Jan. With something like 360 hp or near there? Or is that what you got ? Im confused too many audi cars with sportiness written on them to keep up. I mean you got Sportline S then Rs models I even think sport too.

S-Line is more of an external appearance package. The one I have has 272 horsepower.

They are coming out with a diesel (2.0l, I think) that's already been out in Europe this last year.

I haven't really payed too much attention to the 2014 stuff...however I don't think I've heard of any other improved engines for the Q5. I know the Hybrid version came out recently as well.

I put 100 miles on it yesterday, and enjoyed it a lot. Mainly getting used to the MMS system, which is a huge improvement over what I've had previously. Being a geeky/tech type...I enjoy a system that has all the bells and whistles this one does.

The Google Maps built in is really nice, as well as the wi-fi hotspot. Laptop and iPad are now connected if I need them (pulled over, of course).

I have to say that I did like my Sonic. It just wasn't as nice on the highways and twisties as the Q5 or my SS.
