Reuse Remote Start in a Silverado?

I just traded my 2011 Silverado for a 2013. I had a remote start in the '11 and I still have the fobs and codes to flash the ecu. Is there any reason why it will not work in the new truck (New truck does have AP8 RPO code as well)
Thanks

should be able to enable it, did you kit come with a longer range antennae when you put it in your 2011 or was it just fobs?

It was just two fobs and a set of instructions. The thing is good for a couple hundred feet. It doesn't set records in remote start distance but it works in my application. The service manager wasn't sure if it could be done so I was trying to get some insight before I brought it in to them to get it done.
