Lousy cargo net

I had one of these in my charger and it was very helpful in keeping my hydraulic jack, tool box and other items from bouncing around. This one for the camaro is a laughing stock, especially with a $48 price tag.I think I am gonna call them today and see if I can get a refund and invest in bungee cords or something. This one for the camaro is good for 1 or 2 grocery bags, maybe, that's it.

There are often posts in the members classifieds section from people who want to buy the cargo nets. You might consider advertising it there.

I just called the dealer-they will refund me -thanx for the input though.I was really curious if anybody else was using something else.I can't be the only one that tows around hydraulic jack, tool boxes,etc.. And has it banging around.

i use a small cement mixing pan ($10/HomeDepot) anchored to the net hooks to throw my floor jack and tool bag in from work. keeps the trunk clean too. also use the pan whenever i'm transporting liquids as a precaution.

I happen to love the cargo net but I don't put tool boxes and jacks in there! That is clearly not what it is intended for. The pan idea is a good idea for your purpose!

I don't think you will need a hydraulic jack and tool box for the Camaro the way you did for the Charger.

Cargo net works for me. To-go boxes from left over dinner last nite held nicely in place between the net and rear of trunk. I'd rather have it leak in there than on my leather.

I disagree- never know what could get stuck under car or come loose under car, while on the road. Also ,never know when a tool would come in handy.I understand where u r coming from with the lackof a spare tire, tho.I was gonna go to home depot for the bungee cords,I'll keep my eye open for that pan you were talking about.thanx

I thought the Cargo net was a bad joke. I threw it in with the tire pump in the trunk where I wish a spare tire was.

I like it, keeps cleaning supplies from moving around. I added the rubber floor mat which is really nice option that keeps the heavier items in boxes from slidding around. It kind of has a non-skid effect.

The cargo net works for me. I don't carry anything large or heavy.

Cargo net keeps my Rum & Jack bottles from rolling around.

Agree that the GM Camaro cargo net is not worth the 45 bucks but I only put in things which I dont wanna spill, i.e. Milk, Glass bottles/jars, beer like a guy posted today. The other stuff that wont spill I just put in trunk corners and drive "a little" less aggressive.
