Muscle car graveyard in Japan

Not sure if this had been posted but i came across this on utube the other day. Made me sick to my stomach. WARNING there is a 1970's Z28 in this video.

I agree that is sad, but there are places like this all over the world. I know of a few spots like this where someone cars like this just rotting away because they think someday they'll have the money to fix them. Personally I would rather sell them and let someone enjoy them versus letting them rot. Some people are strange though.

I like my hot rods in a climate controlled environment, not outside.

Sad and wrong. American muscle shouldn't leave the USA to die.

SMDH that 1970 Z28 is gold here. HOLY COW When I redid my car the Camaro Emblem on the hood was the hardest thing I ever had to look for.

Ok...Maybe I'm wrong....but....I thought all cars in Japan had to have the driver's side/steering wheel on the opposite side...If so, I call bs on the video...Never saw one plate or anything to show it was in Japan....lol...

Some of the houses looked of Japanese style and there was a van that would look to belong over there. The vegetation could also be a clue.

Old cars are very expensive to own in Japan. Owning cars older than three years old is discouraged through high inspection fees.
I reckon those "muscle cars" failed inspection and were illegal to drive on the road.

Most were probably taken there with a military owner.

Nope. We import German cars from Japan along with JDM cars all the time, or rather did. Most German cars we brought in had left hand drive.

True. Depending on money markets, sometimes Japan can be a car buyer paradise for us. Check out Bulldog Brothers Trading.
