New guy from the midwest

Hello Camaro5 - new to the forums and new to the Camaro. Was lookin around at Camaro's after being unhappy with a Toyota MR2 I bought off craigslist. Found a Synergy Green SS at a local dealer here in StL, decided to take it for a test drive, and after seeing the car in person and driving it, made my mind up that I MUST have it. 2 days later I traded in the MR2 and drove the Camaro home ^_^. It's a 2011 2SS L99 A6, and is Synergy Green as mentioned. One of them love it or hate it colors - not usually a color I'd jump on but seeing it in person made me a believer.

Car had 11,4xx and was a great find IMO... Owned by a couple in their 60's, and kept in a garage most of it's life. There's literally 2-3 touch-ups on the paint, but flawless beyond that. No mods(well a front bowtie delete), yet, but I feel she could use a little more purr. Anyhow, obligatory pics

I did buy one of those plate hiding trays, but don't have the balls/heart to drill into the underside of my bumper :(

LOL Yeah I got a funky plate, easy to remember though! Couldn't even tell you a partial of my other 2 vehicles(75 GMC K25 + 95 Pontiac Grand Prix).

Something about Synergy Green makes it hard to photograph. Looked a bit flat in the dealer's pictures:

I agree with you about the green. Its like yellow and red, you need a good camera and the right lighting to really bring out the color. I love the green though.

skitchin, CONGRATS on the new ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wive's, husbands, girlfirends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.
