City of Chicago vs. Chicago Cubs

Fact: The Cubs have not asked the city of Chicago for anything. They simply want to use $500m of their own money to rebuild THEIR house that they OWN OUTRIGHT. Years ago they asked for financial help but now they are not.

Fact: The city of Chicago won't let the Cubs do what they want cuz they'll lose their precious rooftop bull$#!+ buildings.

Solution: Its time for the Cubs to threaten to leave. Threaten to build a super stadium in Rosemont or another suburb. If the city of Chicago does not shut up, LEAVE.

I could understand if the Cubs were asking for help with money but they are not. Government should have no say in what the cubs do with their land and building.

This is the opinion of a White Sox fan.

Yeah i grew up in chicago and i love the city itself. But oh my god do i hate illinois as a state

Illinois wouldn't be bad if it wasn't for Chicago. I live in Illinois, 15 minutes or so from St. Louis. I wish we would move to Missouri.
