You might be able to report them and you can request money from them. Otherwise I try to not deal with people that don't have any feedback on here or where ever else cause otherwise they are typically decent enough.

File a claim thru paypal. log into your account and look for the tab how to file a dispute/claim.

nope, never ever pay through gift...it very clearly states it is not covered.....I would file a complaint anyways, get his account suspended so he doesn't burn others.

If they want it gift, offer to pay 3% over the cost to cover the fee, if they still demand gift then its a scam....walk away....

You lose a lot of PayPal protection when you "gift", they charge you less fees because its for gifts, not purchases. They care a lot less when you try to cheat them out of money and someone cheats you out of a product.

Sure there is... the other side agrees and refunds the money.

If you don't know the seller it's always best to just suck it up and pay the 3% for your protection.

Try to file a dispute. I was able to get my refund from a member here by filing a dispute, just show them that you made numerous attempts to contact seller. Hope works out for ya!
