New SS owner
I wanted to stop in and say hello. My name is Paul and I am from North Central Pa. I have always been involved with drag racing and performance automobiles. For the last 5 yrs I have been building diesel trucks, but an awesome opportunity came up for me to get back into a car...a 2011 Camaro SS
!!It was between a Camaro and a Challenger...thanks to the boys at ECS I chose the Camaro and will hopefully be going the FI route in the near future. I appreciate the forum and the opportunity to learn as much as I can about these cars and am looking forward to a wonderful journey! Thank you, Paul |

I will throw up some pics when I have a chance to detail her up.
One - The challenger did not fit my very well as far as the seats go. Second - The challenger was a decent bit more expensive for not a lot of gain IMO. I like the options that the 2SS comes with. Third - I was talking to the guys at ECS about FI and bolt on options and dollar for dollar the camaro seemed to offer better performance. Last - The camaro is a bit lighter than the challenger which should pay off if I ever drag race the car. |

Paul, CONGRATS on the ride and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wive's, husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.
![]() oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!
