Oreion Motors "Reeper"
Anyone seen these? There's a dealer in Sealy, TX (just outside Houston) about 3 hours east of where I live that sells 'em.
42mpg off-road side-by-side Street Legal though... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

How is it street legal without airbags? Or 5 mph bumpers?
Ad says off-road use only.. These are standards that must be met for the Reeper to be street legal. http://www.nhtsa.gov/cars/rules/import/fmvss/index.html Looks like fun though, maybe a great golf cart. Yours for $14,000 http://www.tobefast.com/sand-reeper-...8-f-65854.html You can get it as a Hummer too.

It has a VIN number.
California may be a little more strict, but this particular dealership said they can get it registered with the Texas DMV. ![]() Maybe because it's such a low-volume vehicle that it can somehow get an exemption?

The Reeper will need one of these stickers on the driver's door jamb to be street legal. If the Reeper has a decal like this, you are good.
I would not believe what a dealership tells you. The new COPO Camaro discussed in other areas of this forum does not have this decal but it does have a VIN.
