Camaro friend in need

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this. Mods/Admin, if it's not permitted then please PM me.

Jennifer Read, aka Firehawk95 is someone I've known through CamaroZ28.com for over 10 years. It is/was a very tight knit community. She was always the first person to help out if someone needed something. She ever met her husband (Jeremy) there.

Jenny has been in and out (mostly in) of the hospital for just over two years now. What started as cancer went into remission, then came back, and the chemotherapy caused a form of neuropathy, which essentially means the chemo attacks the nerves and burned up her hands and feet.

She went back for surgery for bed sores and received 8 pints of blood.

Just the other day she was officially told she would be a paraplegic. At this point she cannot have her head above a thirty degree angle, so she's bed-ridden completely for the time being, on top of being paralyzed.

She's been to multiple hospitals, including a four-week stay at the Mayo Clinic where they told her they had no idea what was wrong with her before they sent her back to Austin.

Since that original phone call I have learned she's tested positive for fibromyalgia, lupus, and West Nile as well. Her fevers hit 103-104 on occasion. It's difficult to fathom how so many medical issues can affect one human being.

Jenny and Jeremy had a daughter two years ago, and since 4 months old she has been staying about five hours away with Jeremy's family, aside from one short bit where she was able to move back home. Over a year and a half without your daughter consistently by your side. I'm not even a parent and that thought chokes me up.

Any way, I created a website to try and raise some money for them. Since she's obviously been out of work for years, and her husband has pretty much no time to work, they need all the help they can get. They never asked for anything, and are too proud too, but just talking to them, you realize they really are in a bad place and could use some help.

If you can give anything, even if it's $1, or even if you can't and can just spread the word, we would greatly appreciate it. My only motivation in doing this is to help out in any way possible make their life a little easier.

The website is http://www.letshelpjenny.com

Thank you!

I have a payment in PayPal I'm waiting to clear, once It does I will donate.

Hits home, I lost my mom in February to Colon Cancer, she was 42, so I know firsthand what they're going through, it's an unbelievable disease that wreaks havoc on every aspect of your body.

Wishing the best for her and her family.
