I remember watching that live. I kinda miss this era of NASCAR.

IMO, here's the best NASCAR finish. 2001 Pepsi 400...first time back to Daytona after Earnhardt's death.

Here's a notable mention too. There was oil on the track and that's why everyone is sliding:

I was setting coming out of turn 2,10rows up during that. I loved it being a BigE fan. Half the crowd was cheering while the other half was booing.

you also need to remember Labonte hit Dale a few laps before that to get by him--I'd do the same thing being a old school dirt track racer !!!!

I was there for that ,and it happened right in front of us. Talk about a bunch of fights that night. One of the best times I've ever had at the track.

I hated ernhart I was and still am a rainbow warrior lol..I liked Bobby not terrible Terry..one thing for sure I know when Dale was behind a car, he was gonna dominate.
