What's The Story

It was bad enough when the face-hugging, acid-dripping Aliens and the infrared-seeing, scary-mouthed Predators were battling it out in the Antarctic. Now they're busting each other up in the good ole' U.S. of A. After a Predator ship crashes near a small Colorado town, humans can't help but get involved in the fight. But how can mere humans hope to contain the menace that's spreading? Maybe the combatants will just kill each other off. Then again, there is that mutant Predator/Alien hybrid that was spawned in the last movie; that guy isn't going quietly.

Three Good Reasons

1 No one man could direct a film of this scope. It takes two brothers: Colin and Greg Strause in their feature debut.

2 "24" fans who miss Reiko Aylesworth as Michelle Dessler once again get to see her dealing with impossible pressures and explosive action.

3 A preview of the movie was not allowed to be shown at this year's ComicCon because it was too violent. So you know it's got to have some good gore.

Bet You Didn't Know

Before the first Alien vs. Predator movie came out in 2004, the franchise had already been a comic book series, several video games, three sci-fi novels, and a toy line. At various points in the comics, the Terminator, Batman and Superman joined in the fight.

Yeah, I can't wait to see this, I can't wait to see how their going to tie this in with the original Alien's movies down the road or if they are. But there another movie coming out this month called The Mist it's a movie based on one of Stephen Kings stories. From what little I've seem on it looks pretty good too.

Alien(s), etc. were good movies. Predator(s) were good movies. Put them together in AVP and it was okay. I did't rave about it, nor did I change the channel. I'll probably feel the same about this new one. I'll watch it.

I want to see this movie as well. But will most likely will have to wait 'til it comes out on DVD since no one will go with me probably...

I may get to see The Mist in theatre's though. I'm reading the story now (it's only like 100 pages).

Man this looks like it's going back to each movie's roots. At 0:55, I could have sworn it's Sigourney Weaver saying "Hold on!" in the second clip. I am definately seeing this on christmas. Too bad my g/f will be under the seat the whole movie or won't want to go.

She's either Reiko Aylesworth (24 and ER) or Chelah Horsdal (a few random cameos in movies and tv shows 'Minivan mom' in Xmen 3)

Either way, I like that it's turning into almost a horror film and bring the scary back into the series instead of just either one of them being badd ass.

Anyone else see this movie yet? I did friday. It was good, but I think they tried to cram to much into to short a film.

nope, but I saw I Am Legend twice. :}

good movie, but I didn't like the fact that every car in it were Fords.. :@
