Do you ever watch old TV shows to see classic cars?

Sometime I like watching old TV shows and end up looking more for classic cars than watching the shows. Does anyone else do that?
Tonight I have seen a 68 Shelby Mustang, a Corvette Stingray, a Nash Metropolitan to name just a few.

The old Bewitched episodes are fantastic for this. GM was a sponsor so Darren would often have some SWEET rides sitting in the driveway. (Somewhat shocking though to watch them today with the prevelent references to drinking and smoking, not exactly PC).

I always try to catch Route 66, always see classic Chevys on it. From Todd's Vette to guest stars cars, if you love Chevys it's a cant miss show.

One day I was watching and this rich girl that was wanting Todd to marry her was driving the original Mako Shark concept car. I looked over in my diecast cabinet and said to my wife "hey I have 3 diecasts of that car" I have 2 1:24 and 1 1:18 scale diecasts of it. I think it originally aired in 1961, 2 years before the Stingray came out.

About 20 years ago I knew a guy who was co-owner of a Mako Shark (body; he and his brother built a Corvette chassis for it. Theirs was a very illegal vehicle re: DOT safety). I worked with him. He snuck it out once and drove it to work.

I grew up in a Studebaker family. All my father bought was Studes until around 1970, I think. Because of this, as a kid I watched Mister Ed a lot. Studebaker was the sponsor and provided every car on the show.

I love the "gills" down by the "mouth".
