What Age Did You Get Married or Would Like To Settle Down?

If your not married yet..well what age do you want to get married?

Some people marriage simply just ain't their thing. Are they swingers? Who knows..do they just like freedom? Possibly. Maybe they simply don't want to share their wealth or can't committ.

Whatever your reasons are we won't judge you. I believe marriage is a big step. I know some people in a rocky relationship they feel if they get married or have a baby it'll bring the couple that much closer and solve all their problems. What do you think of couples who think this way? Is it smart on their behalf? or just suicide?

You obviously don't know what a swinger is.

To me it is very simple: You look at the Advantages, and disadvantages.

As long as the list of positive things, is higher than the negative things, then you are definitely on the right track.

Me: got married for the first time at age 38, to someone 13 years younger and it was also her first marriage.

Two things that are way too easy to get: a marriage license and a driver's license.

First off, I got married at the age of 23 to the love of my life. Granted we had only been together 1 1/2 yrs before we got married, but when you know you just KNOW!! Everyone thought he was my re-bound guy since I met him a week after I left my ex-fiance, but boy were they wrong. We have been going stronge for the last 6 1/2 yrs of marriage and nothing shall waiver this. I believe everything in this world happens for a reason and certain ppl are placed in your life for whatever reasons. I wouldn't trade my hubby or 2 boys for anything in this world. Has it been easy, oh goodness NO, is it an adventure oh you bet your a$$ it is and worth it, IMHO!! Now to your questions.

I think these couples feel the need to rush big steps in their lives because they know the relationship is coming to an end and they are scared about moving on with someone else or having to be out there alone. I was scared when the ex and I broke up cuz we were together for 5 years and he was all I knew. We couldn't force anything to happen because when we did it made us more miserable. We grew up to have different wants and needs in life, and I'm happy we didn't rush it. We are best friends now and he is in my Camaro club and that's how it was to be. Completely idiotic on their behalf to force something to happen that isn't meant to be. It's one thing to get married when in an unhappy relationship, but you don't bring a child into that.

First marriage I was 28, my wife and I were together for 7 years, got married on the 7th anniversary of our first date, she was killed by a DUI 9 months later. We were together a long time, but waited until she was graduated from college.

Current wife and I have been together for 8 years, she is also a widow, her first husband of 16 years died of cancer.

Tomorrow I turn 44 and she turns 53 (yes we share the same birthday).. We got married by the court last year, and have our wedding planned for 12-12-12...
