I think the Ford ad is cool but it still didn't give me the same feeling I got the first time I saw the Camaro concept.
I think the Camaro sells itself.

well...........a couple of things:
1. - Ads are very subjective......some love 'em and some hate 'em....... 2. we all have opinions 3. the "Best Gift Ever" ad was a CONTEST -- won by college students 4. -- you may want to look at the consumer results of polling taken after the superbowl.............. (.....and might I suggest a 'sense of humor" Mr. Percy J. Wellington Number III???)

Cool ad, but it's not aimed at me. I don't forsee an occasion where I would ever buy a Mustang.

Camaro commercial: "Status update.....Best day ever!!!!!"
I LMAO when I saw the Camaro commercial for the first time and just giggled again, but the Ford ad didn't appeal/ relate to me at all because of the setting and situations. I'm not interested in what a some ford executive considers a pretty woman with short hair and a scarf in a big city to sell me on a product, or a D-bag w/ lame tribal tattoo's and a hipster bicycle rider.

Personally think the Camaro AD grabs more attention. I know I was laughing my butt the first time I saw it, had a neighbor do something similar with my TA a few years back.
The Ford ad is rather boring. This is the first time I've stopped to see it, but I do know I've fast forwarded through it quite a few times.

"Cool" to a young kid maybe, with the pretty colors and shiny paint jobs.
Maybe the Camaro commercial requires being able to understand a premise and appreciate humor? They were two completely different styles of commercials. Like comparing an artsy movie to a comedy. Apples and oranges. |
