I say yes because I would like to see if it is handled any differently. Problem is that the excitement over the Volt will be nothing compared to the Camaro so I doubt anyone will really care.

Well, if you place your order now, you might actually get it before Toyota releases their solar-powered vehicle that gets 50 miles at night and 40 on a bright sunny day.

LOL I don't think they should. They already screwed our camaro preorders up and making us go crazy. I hope gm would learn from this expirence and not do it again to other people who would want this car

Why shouldn't they offer pre-orders? It helps the company out, they'd be foolish not to. Also, I don't see the Volt as being too much of a traffic bringer for dealerships, unlike the Camaro. I imagine that the entire process should be a lot simpler for the Volt's rollout.

My dad put a $200.00 deposit on one in Ocotber of 2008 at the dealership I ordered my Camaro from (Village Chev in Wayzata, MN) and is guarenteed in writing MSRP. Anyone in MN, these people are great to deal with...
