Interesting Cellulosic Ethanol Article...

Progress is slow scaling up Cellulosic Ethanol.

Seems they are finding they are not economically viable without a LOT of government subsidies, feedstocks are hard to aquire, the "free" feedstocks are not free as transportation costs are huge and a couple process have to put more energy into the conversion to Ethanol than the fuel value of the Ethanol produced.
