OnStar App for Windows Phone

Anyone know if it is in the works? I know they (OnStar) released the API to developers who seek it but I also read some articles claiming a Windows version was in the pipeline already. Blackberry is getting theirs very soon. I'm thinking about switching to a Windows Phone from my iPhone but the fact Windows Phone doesn't have the app for Remote Link yet kind of defeats one of the two purposes as to why I have OnStar to begin with.

Id bet good money the app will not work while driving/moving over so many MPH to avoid liability issues. OnStar and GM are to big to open up those laywer flood gates. Since you can't force handsfree use of a cell.

The app doesn't really have any merit while the car is moving/you are in the car. It is primarily used to send directions to the car, remote start, remote unlock, has all your dealer info so you can call them without looking up the number, and many other handy functions.

However, in putting your concerns to bed there are already apps out for the iPhone (iOS) and Android, have been for awhile now. OnStar claimed they would not be developing for any other platforms, however they are magically developing for Blackberry with very, very limited word on Windows Phone development.
