No Vin = no way to prove/disprove it being a true Z body. Either way you've got a snowballs chance in hell as to finding any number matching parts due to the absence OF a number.
Also, you'd probably be looking into 40K just to get it running if it's as bad as you make it sound. IMO, keep walking. You'd be surprised what craigslist and auto trader classics can bring up. http://cleveland.craigslist.org/cto/1143142887.html http://cleveland.craigslist.org/cto/1136927040.html Last edited by Zabo; 05-01-2009 at 09:33 PM. |

Hmm, is the car complete? Meaning Engine, Transmission, rear end, some of the interior, 1 seat or more? If so, I guess you could try it for 1K. But it'll put the slow in slow tinker. Mind posting a link or pics of what you're working with?

Somebody probably took the VIN and just bought themselves a new Dynacorn replacement body.

Hmm, if you're willing to try it.. 1K for a possible Z body and frame might as well be worth it. After all, if you can dig up the vin plate off of a wrecked body..
Problem solved, right? |
