Has anyone beat my reasonably priced car or lotus evora time yet? I have been having a good drift battle int he supra with Blur. I haven't been in game for a while though. playing dark souls and forza switching off.

I got close to the reasonably priced car time.... Still trying to get used to shifting

Seems like its a going to be a tough time to beat!

Good luck with that. I spent a good 2 hours working on that time, and I know I can do better. I just figured to quit before I started getting frustrated.

Shifting is easy, it's getting the car to rotate with gas/brake/shifting is where you make up or lose all your time. =)

Kills me everytime.....

I wish they would separate the times of auto and manual. I beat your lotus time but I did it with a auto.

Manual times should be listed above auto times.... JMO

Ehhh kind of cheap in my mind.... a lot less to worry about when you are not shifting!

Thank you for that, I've been wanting to get hooked up with you guys, didn't know how to join.

On another note, I just hooked up the CSR wheel and peddles. Holly crap does that set beat the hell out of the Microsoft wheel. It's a whole other demention. I've got a bit of relearning to do, but can't wait to get back to it.

Shno, I beat you and Blur's lotus time. I am having issues relearning how to drive the kia, so I gave up after 3 or 4 laps. What sucks is that it's only one lap and there's so much down time between races. I may try the lancia challenge next instead.

Looks like I am going to have to put down BF3 for a few....




The load times were bugging me so I loaded the game onto the hard drive.... Seems to help the load speed quite a bit!

I am still debating if I want to drop the money for a good wheel set up.... is it worth it?

It is a lot of money, so it's hard to answer that for you. What I can say, is it doesn't even compare to the Microsoft wheel. It was like driving the Camaro for the first time, I couldn't stop smiling. Then I started messing with the settings. It got even better. The Force Feedback is awsome. It does bring a new perspective to the reality of the game. I know I will play the game more because of the wheel. Not just becuase I spent a lot of money on it, but because it's that much of an improvement. I got the elite peddleds too. The resistance of the brake pedal can be ajusted. It simulates the kind of resistance you would feel in a car. I broke 2 of those Microsoft wheels. Add that up and I was at the price of the Fanatec wheel anway.

Coleman, I have to say, you have a tremendous time with the chevy spark on the top gear half track. I'm guessing it's because of the pedals. I'm going through the rival things now and just blowing by most people and then I see your times which are even faster than mine. I'll have to spend some time trying to catch up to some of your records. =)
