New car question...
Just went to trade my 2009 mustang v6 today.
I have a question, the dealer said my car is worth $13k but he'll give me $14k. Then he will take the difference from invoice and sticker and put that on the 14k. That is about $17.3k. Right so then I pay sticker for car and get 17.3k car for a 2009 v6 ford mustang... wtf. I would have taken it if the banks weren't closed by the time we were finished.. Does this sound legit? |

That does not sound right, but who knows. That's an awfully generous offer. Is your 09 paid for? If so then your in the drivers seat. Basically he would be selling you the car
at invoice and giving you 14K for the stang. |

It does seem really generous but who knows. Ford is hurting too and doesnt have the excitment of a brand new car that everyone loves so maybe they are just getting desperate to push the other cars off the lot to make it look like they are doing stuff.......That or your car is worth alot more than you think and they r low balling you...you can always hope
