"2013 SRT Viper: First Photo

Here's the first teaser image of the newly de-Dodged 2013 SRT Viper — posted moments ago on the DriveSRT Facebook Page ahead of its expected debut sometime in the next couple of months.

The shadowy serpent that is beginning to emerge from the teaser shot has a distinctly Italian look to it, don't ya think? Anyway, all we know now is that "the next generation Viper will make its return to the product lineup in late 2012 as a 2013 model," according to SRT Brand & Motorsports President/CEO Ralph Gilles in a press release last month.

Also, that from now on, the Dodge brand will also no longer play host to the Viper. Instead the supercar will just be called the SRT Viper."

I've got some high hopes for this one. I just hope SRT un-uglies the interior over last generation.

Can'tt wait for this or the C7, hopefully both end up with less ugly and more high quality interiors.....

Very excited. With some Italian styling (hopefully) in the interior and influencing the exterior, I don't how this can lose.

If I were to get a sports car, it'd be the Viper, but the problem is the design is so in your face, like riding in a phallus.

i think its gonna look more similar to the first gen vipers (more rounded vs. squared off) which is a good thing. Rounded body lines are more classic.

I know it is an American car, but I'd like it to sound a little more exotic.

i agree, it doesnt have to sound like a big muscle-y V8 but the V10 exhaust note sounds kinda turdy in most instances.
