Talking Something a little different, but still really fast.

Last week, in the Mojave Desert, was a race billed as the toughest one day off-road race. DynoMax sponsors this drive Shannon Campbell. He is running an LS( not too sure which) on 42"tires. It was insane to watch these drivers out there.
Enjoy!

No idea how to embed....:(

I love watching that stuff. Back when I ran with the local 4x4 club we had some guys who ran some super-modified rigs (not quite at the level of the vid above but still very impressive). I never got tired of watching them "billy goat" over stuff that I'd have a hard time climbing on foot.

I was the baby of our group:

Yeah I know... pales in comparison.
But I never have anywhere to share that Gif.
Suffer.

Wait a minute is that Trees' (Or is it Cline) Ranch? This in the Hill Country (guessing since you are in Austin)? I did this trail and Impossible Hill (Ok we rolled) on the 2007 Ultimate Adventure.

"Its a small world after all" eh? What are the odds of seeing a fellow Jeep nut here? Weird... but cool!

It certainly isn't Trees ranch, I never went there. It could be Cline (though I can't remember the name of the place for sure).
The guy before me on this little step had some issues and ended up needing a bit of an assist to get up (he kept sliding sideways if I remember correcty). My little JK bounced right up like it wasn't nuttin' ...of course it was a Rubicon with a couple of locked Dana 44's and brand new 32's so it wasn't really driver skill that did the trick.

The scary part wasn't this bump, it was the steep scree hill you had to climb to get TOO it. Looong roll to the bottom to meet a tree if you screwed the pooch.
