GM to modify 8000 Volts
I just read on MSNBC.COM where GM is making modifications to 8000 Volts to strengthen side inpact and add some coolant monitoring electronics to mitigate this potential fire situation. Maybe this is good news

they need to just let it die already. it's not even a practical model for cars going into the future. should invest in hydro-electric power.

Ironically enough the Volt is the ONLY practical EV out there.

I would have a volt if someone gave it to me. Great vehicle, just a little out of reach for those who would benefit most. $$
