Talking Spotlight on the Ford booth at SEMA 2011: Forgiato Mustang

This article is the first in a series of spotlight articles from SEMA 2011 that we will be posting on TheHorsepowerJunkies.com. This particular one is about a Ford Mustang but that doesn't mean some of you might appreciate it or even be able to pick up some ideas for your ride.

SEMA 2011 In The Ford Display – Forgiato Mustang

Added Nov 11, 2011, Under: Mustang

This muscular looking 5.0 litre Ti-VCT equipped 2012 Ford Mustang GT found itself on display in the Ford booth at this year’s SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. The exterior sports some TS Designs wide body modifications, a 3DCarbon Boy Racer body kit, TRUFIBER Ram Air hood all covered by a PPG matte silver finish and matte black stripes.

This pony’s powerplant consists of the 5.0L Ti-VCT V8 engine coupled to a 6 speed manual transmission. A Vortech supercharger helps the air get in, and JBA headers and Magnaflow exhaust helps that air find it’s way out. If the stance seems a bit low, that’s because the car rests on Eibach springs. Forgiato 2.01 3 piece forged wheels (21″ x 10.5″ front, 22″ x 13″ rear) are wrapped in Pirelli 295/25′s and 335/25′s respectively. The interior is richened up with custom skin by Top Stitch Upholstery, and a Kicker audio system. Together, it makes for one great looking ‘Stang.

meh. I like everything else but the wide body kit is just way too wide. Almost every Saturday, GAS (Galpin Auto Sports of Pimp my Ride show) sponsors a drive in and park and there is always at least 1 with a wide body kit that is done right.

really like the concavity on the rims. one of the best mustangs there besides the crome magenta one that was in the ford section.

Quick question; I know forgiato because of their rims mainly. I'm guessing they do wide bodies as well. Do they also do interior and audio and performance mods?

Looked at their website already

Looks like the Mustang went on a few month eating binge, not really feeling it.

The wheels are nice but I don't care for the body fat.

I really like it, I just wish they would have done something about the tails. Thats the ugliest part on the Stang.

The blacked-out trunk area between the tails makes the rear look soooooo much better.

I agree. It definitely adds a little visual interest.

thanks for posting the Galpin ones. Now I see why I didn't like the Forgiato wide-body...the rear fenders are just wide smooth bulge that seem to make the rear wheels/tires too small...while the galpin are rear fenders are flared. The dark red Galpin one I see there on weekends.
