New SS owner

Well Ive been a Mustang guy for along time and I still am. I have a 65 Mustang that Im working on. The wife and I saw the 2012 2/SS Transformers Edition and loved it so for a birthday present my wife got it for me. Since I lost my leg in Afghanistan 5 months ago I went with the auto. My right leg is still being worked on and in a giant metal Halo so it will be atleast 5 months before I can drive it but I atleast have it sitting in the garage giving me motivation to get better. All I need to do know is find the right exaughst and Im good. Glad to be part of the SS group now.

EODSS, YOU NEED TO CHECK OUT THE TEXAS SECTION.....we have a LARGE C5 presence there and the guys have a lot of events and drive in car meets in the area, check thm out! OH and BTW......Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wive's, husbands and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Wow , it is time for you to look to what is in your garage and just imagine all the fun that is waiting for you right in front of your eyes , like you said, it will make you push your self mentally and physically even harder for a speedy recovery , all the best for you and the ones around you , thanks for your service .

Thanks guys. I plan on joining the SACC when I am finally able to drive again. I'll probably join the club now so I can get to know the guys. How much or a performance jump should I see with a cat back and intake. Also do I need to get a tune with this set up. THis is really all the plans I have for the car. Its my daley driver and am sure it will be fast enough. Im building my 65 mustang as my beast as soon as I can find some extra cash.

Also, where can ypu find that SS grill Ive seen on a few camaros. I think they look pretty sweet. Ill try and get some pictures of my car on here as soon as the dealership gets the ground effects on. The 2012 Transformers Edition just doesnt look complete without them IMO.
