2013 Dodge Viper to get 8.7 Liter V10!

According to this article from Motor Trend the new 2013 Viper could be including Dodges biggest engine from the factory ever in a Dodge production car. I cant wait to see what the new C7 Corvette will have under its hood and to see what it will look like! It will be a fun race between the two!

Didn't the car czar say that the C7 was going to be a small displacement turbo hybrid?

I don't know I have seen something about a hybrid in the past but I doubt that will happen. The last recent thing I heard about the new C7 Corvette engine is that it could be a 5.5 Liter V8 but im not even for sure if that is correct. We wont know until they release more info. I think Chevrolet will probably debut the new C7 Corvette next year sometime but we will see if they do or not. I also heard that the people that have caught the new C7 testing have said that the car sounded alot like a Ferrari so whatever thats worth we will see.
I do know that the design of the new Corvette will be good for sure we will have to see what it has performance wise.

The new Viper is going to be an awesome ride for sure. The ACR runs the ring in 7.12.13 on production tires and is tied to 60 and 1/4 within a .1 of the ZR1. The C7 vettes are going to really be great leaps forward and will still make the bar. Lets keep the HP wars going!

But I think its losing the rawness the previous generations had which most Viper owners loved.

Any time someone mentions a Viper I think Dos Gringos, and this song. (Viper is a nickname for the F-16 too, incidentally.)

That's the 'official' nickname. In the service many aircraft will have other names. Good example: B-52 Stratofortress is more commonly referred to as BUFF.

Big Ugly Fat F**k.

F-16 got the Viper name in the late 70s after the odd similiarities with Battlestar Galatctica's Viper Fighter.
