that would be pretty expensive these days. 25k EUR, about 33k USD only for the car itself :/

A GTI in Germany is 26k EUR / 35k USD. But the GTI is selling for 23k USD over here!

Sorry, my hatred for VW stems from my 7 year relationship with a 93 jetta. She was a high maintenance monster with no power. But at least she was good on gas.

I do like the look of it, but I have to think of it in Canadian dollars. If its 23 grand even in USD, we will be looking at about 30+ grand in Canada. More bang for the buck to be had out there.

Defiately a sharp lookin Vee Dub though.

And as to 'You don't even know what the scirrocco brings to the table', you are correct. But I will venture a guess that like all VW stuff, whatever it brings to the table will be a bit overpriced.

According to this: Link from the link it brings a 210hp turbo 4 and 0-60 in 6.9.

As to pricing, to 09 GTI is only $23k, if they want to charge $30k+ they will have to bring back the R32 (AWD V6 Golf).
