I would expect that McLaren would only show a video promoting their vehicles in a positive light. Cool video, regardless

Any idea how this time stacks up against the CTS-V and ZL1? They did run the ZL1 at the Ring already, right?

Yea, they ran a ZL1 already. I don't know the exact time, but it was in super car territory, just don't expect it to be anywhere near this car's ^ time.

I think the ZL1 got 7:41 from a picture I saw...

Notice how the Corvette ZR1 outran Ferrari's new 458 Italia that they've been touting on FB a lot?

He told me that was the best damn answer he ever heard.

10 seconds faster than the Corvette ZR1. Yeah, that's awesome.

So a hand built super car worth DOUBLE what a loaded ZR1 costs beats it by 10 seconds. I will still take the ZR1. For the $112,000 I save I will mod the ZR1 slightly and beat the McLaren.

Very true. The McLaren is truly amazing though, an engineer's wet dream.

Something about a 2800lb car with a V8 that revs to 8500 just makes me . If I had one... I'd drive around about 6K all the time.... good golly what sound!

Holy f*ck, that's the only Porsche I've ever really liked. SEX. Since we're on this topic, how about that Ford GT, MORE SEX!

In my honest opinion - If you ever actually sat in and drove a Ford GT you might not be so impressed. True it does feel VERY solid and composed at speed (amazing) but it is a real bear to get in and out of the car and the shifter feels like a stick stuck in a bucket of gravel. The torque everywhere IS kinda cool though.
