What's up with the zig-zag antenna?

Here's mine:

I need to do some work to get it up and running. Over the winter, some varmints nested in the battery bay and feasted on the ECM wires.

But it's a fun car, and may see more driving time with $4 gas.

I'd like to do an engine swap. I could do a 5.3 LS4 pretty easily (with the FWD tranny out of an Impala, Monte Carlo, or GRand Prix). But I also like the turbo motor out of the new Buick CXL. Still exploring options.

The zig zag antenna will most likely be gone. Yours looks really good! Mine still needs a transmission rebuild, and the front clip painted.

mom's Fiero caught on fire on teh I5, on way to San Francisco (if I remember well) and was left to a smoldering pile of crap cos nearest firestation was a long ways away. I liked that car...GT 2m6 (if I recall well).

Ahhhhhh......another great GM design that vanished. Great little cars. Throw a Turbo Ecotec in. 260HP, pretty fast Fiero!!

Wife had a 85 Silver GT I had an officially '861/2? Brt Red with the silver/gray grnd effects GT like in the picture above. Remember the engine in the Fastback was pretty "customized" with chrome bolts,stainless fittings and red powdered coated intake and covers. Then something happened. Yeah GM stopped production but...

Then it was Sedan Time.
