I did a bad bad thing

Well guys, I'll never leave this site, but my new car isn't a GM.

A little background: I had two cars, a G8 and a Chrysler Aspen. Then I got divorced, and I also totalled the G8 () so I've been driving the Aspen for the past 8 months looking for a different car.

I obsess over the Camaro more than any other car so I came here and asked you guys how it would be if I were to trade my SUV on a Camaro (don't need two cars anymore now that I'm divorced). I got a lot of good answers from you guys.

I think it all boiled down to this: I really want a Camaro, but having that as my primary vehicle would be impractical. So I decided against the Camaro for now and focused on trying to get another G8. I went to a Dodge dealer on a whim just to see the Challenger/Charger and they were willing to give me prices that were too good to pass up.

So here I am, a Camaro fan driving a 2011 Charger. I'll get a Camaro some day, probably when my Charger loan is paid off (then I can drive the camaro on nice days and the charger on crappy days). You guys will never be rid of me, this site is too good to leave

And here's a pic:

Congrats on the new car... But you could of bought a 2011 camaro LS.. or RS....
No difference in a base camaro... Or base charger... Not unless you needed 4 doors.

Anyways... Congrats... Mopar man lol

That's the thing, I did some thinking and came to the conclusion that I need something other than a Camaro as my primary car. I was at my house today (moving) and picked up a lot of stuff, would've been 3 trips in a camaro - one trip in the charger. I'll have both cars some day, but for now I'll be driving my charger.

The new Charger looks leaps and bounds better than the old one. As long as you're happy, that's what really matters.

I actually really like the current Charger. The tail lights are what do it for me. I love the way the new rear fascia looks. But hey, I like the Mustang refresh too. I don't hate (unless it's Toyota, then I hate).

I would have rather seen you get a Challenger, if you had to go with a Dodge, but they may not have been willing to give you a deal on the Challenger as you received on the Charger. As much as I love my Camaro, I still think that the Challenger is the closest Retro match to it's Predecessor of all Retro styled vehicles. Even including Mustangs and the Volkswagen Beetle.

At any rate, enjoy that Charger!
