Mustang week!$!@#@%^&%$

drove all the way down from long island NY to go on vacation with my family for 11 and a half hours straight to myrtle beach SC rented a amazing house right on the beach and the weather has been nothing but beautiful but here is where the story goes south. ITS MUSTANG WEEK!!!!.... Im glad i didnt drive the camaro down because of the highway stone chips and the mileage and salt air... though it would have been very nice to rub it in all the mustang's faces, i cant go more than 5 feet without seeing one On a side note i drove down my dads 96 impala ss and from every rest stop on the way down to pretty much every time i stop i have gotten nothing but complements about the car, i told my dad he should move down here and then he would knows what it feels like to drive around in a new camaro these days

Don't hate mustangs. If we didn't have so many of them out there, we wouldn't look so good.

I was there last year during mustang week by mistake too. I drove up and down the strip with 100s of mustangs. Needless to say my Camaro got way more looks/pics/comments then the stangs around me!

Where I live you can't go 5 seconds down the freeway without seeing a mustang in the first place...

Mustangs are fine cars. They just need to give the styling more pizazz

I love 96 Impalas/9C1 Caprices. To me it is the perfect car. Fast (for what they are), good economy (mine anyway, 3.08 rear), handle great, roomy and comfortable, strong as an ox (tow a 6000lb trailer sometimes), and they can even handle some rough terrain (followed a few friends in a tacoma to a place even I was surpised it made it to lol). It is a extremely versatile car. I've owned a few sports/muscle cars, but my heart belongs to these land yatchs. They were feared in their day by everyone on the road when they were on patrol. Hell people still think twice before speeding past me. I will always have one in my stable, even when I buy my ZL1. They make great spare vehicles. I'm from Patchogue by the way.
