I can think of something I'd rather be doing right now!

I'm sitting in a dental office waiting to see if I need a root canal. It's beautiful outside & I'd rather be driving the Camaro right now!!!!! :(

Waiting to drive

Good luck with the root canal.

Thank you. The Novocaine is beginning to wear off @ 6 PM.

As I was sitting in the waiting room, I was thinking of the saying people sometimes use, "I'd rather have a root canal". I wonder if they've ever had one.

Sorry, NoMercy that you had to have your tooth pulled. That sounded like an awful experience! I brought my iPod with me (as I always do ~ I had a bad experience as a kid, so I don't go without it). Play my favorite music & do my best to relax.

I had to read this consent to treat me. In which it talks about files could break, you may need more treatment for the tooth, should this procedure not work, ect. What comforting thoughts. Basically, to cover themselves.

I told him, that I expected "EXCELLENCE" in his treatment of me. I have had a different root canal & haven't had any problems :o). Here's hoping!!!

My brother-in-law had issues 2 years ago, and again this year for the same tooth.

I went back to school today (to help out) and one of the teachers looked at me & asked if everything was ok with my mouth or was I still under the effects of the Novocaine? I told her, it was still the Novocaine. When I got home, I looked in the mirror & saw my right upper lip not move when I talked. She must have thought maybe I had had a stroke. Thank God, no that was not the case.

Definitely not fun. Fortunately, I had a dentist who administered Nitrous before the novocaine and during the procedure so by the time he started the work, I was tanked; it takes the edge off and everything is soooo . Well worth the extra $30.

Hope you're feeling better soon.

Nos - not just for your car anymore.

I had that when I had my wisdom teeth out. It made me sick to my stomach. I can't stand the smell of it. I kept smelling for a long time after having it. I won't do that again. Glad it works for other people.

My husband on the other hand, loves the stuff. I told him he could have my share.
