Anything is better than the DTS. People seem to like those floaty new Buicks, so maybe FWD still has a place in luxary cars.

What floaty new Buicks? The LaCrosse and Regal sure aren't floaty. Based on your comment, I'm guessing you haven't driven either.

Fixed. Paced a Lacrosse on the freeway in the T/A.. you want to talk about sporty ride heights and lines. I was looking at him more than he was at me. My uncle traded his friggin Merc for a Regal A6. Not sure the trim and all that but I bet he's kicking himself now that the Turbo came out.

Damn straight, I'm 28 not 65 so yes your right I haven't driven any of them. I only hope they are a little bit more sporty than the Regals and Park Avenues of recent past, my grandpa needs to handle driving backwards through the drivethru with a more feel in the chasis. I'll give you that they certainly are lookers, still rather have something a little more appealing to my age group. Hey Audis (yes I have driven) are based on transverse design, so yes thankfully FWD can be sporty and luxuirous at the same time. Hopefully somehow this makes a better FWD Cadillac.

Yes - hopefully the ATS will look the same inside, not only would it beat the competition - it would make a modern BMW look like its from the 80's
