Pinks! LS1Tech.com Camaro

I'm not sure if you guys heard about the race that is supposed to be ran on Pinks! between LS1tech.com and some Mustang forum... The Mustang forum backed out (it was blueoval something?) so now the ls1tech car is racing a 87 Mustang, I believe. Here's a video of the Camaro... Pretty kickass, I do believe! I think the Mustang forum had good reason to back down haha

It's pretty cool seeing one of my favorite forums doing something on TV. Too bad it's on Pinks, where sandbagging seems to take precedence over actually racing your damn car. Yeah I understand it's a good working strategy, but it has become rediculous over the last couple of seasons. To me it isn't even competitive. They need to find a way to try and prevent it.

I like Pinks All Out better because those people are actually running their car with everything they've got! They gotta try to get the best time since they don't know what times they are going to be keeping in the race... Then after they are picked to continue racing if they get any faster than their previous time they're disqualified! Sounds fair to me! haha

To improve pinks, I'd say that they should have 2 drivers for the show. they each do a run in each car, to get a good baseline and doesn't count. then best 2/3 with the drivers that came with the car

That sounds like a great idea. Also make sure those drivers are experts who can spot things that the car owners can attempt to sneak into the car such as extra nitrous, etc. Since most cars are being bult just to compete on the show, it will bring more legit competition and bring back negotiation as a huge deciding factor in who wins.

New news found out at LS1tech.com...

Apparently the race now is NOT going to be ran between the LS1tech Camaro & the 87 Mustang from Kentucky... No details have been released yet but if you guys are wanting to follow up on it, there is LOTS of discussion going on at ls1tech.com.

Here's a video I found of the guy that is the driver of the LS1tech Camaro trying to get a race going for money with Nate from Pinks. Rich Christianson's brother is the one that pulled Nate away and you can see Charles in the background who just walks in at the end and is laughing.

Sure hope they figure out a way to get that LS1tech car on Pinks!!

Enjoy the vid!
