Ive been around a while but i still dont know what a "Bump" is. Can someone tell me?

bump means to push it up... meaning it'll will toss the thread to the top of the others because someone commented..

Yeah pretty much, if someone wants to bring up an issue again but has nothing new to say, they just post "bump" or /bump or something to that effect. This can also be called necro, like necromancer bringing something back from the dead. However necro is usually used when a really really old thread is brought back up, whereas a bump is more recent, like a few days.

Threads are bumped when someone feels that the topic has been forgotten about, however most people just might not care. I think it stands for 'bring up my post' or it could just describe how a thread has been pushed back to the top of a forum. Either way, doing it too often or too many times without a response gets annoying
