How much would YOU pay for your Vanity Plates?

$10,000? $15,000?

Texas plates at auction yesterday, FERRARI went for $15,000, COWBOYS for $11,500, GO HORNS $10,500 ("My wife's going to shoot me"), at Cowboys Stadium.

RI has some stupid obsession with low number plates also. I could care less. My father was asking if I wanted my uncles plate for my Camaro when he got rid of his car (to old to drive now :( ) I said no thanks. It's just gonna get replaced when I finally get around to getting my vanity plate. Perhaps once the snow melts.

WELL WHAT YOU ARE REFERING TO IS......the state had a special auction FOR CHARITY to action off the first avilable 7 DIGIT PLATES....there was a very specific list of plates available.....they were already made....you could not order them. In an article in the Dallas Daily News:

"The company (MyPlates) has promoted the auction as a way for Texans to secure, for the first time, coveted seven-digit plates. Only THIRTY different plates will be available to bidders, including FT WORTH, RANGERS and COWBOYS. The proceeds are to be shared by My Plates, the state and three charities."

so once again.....the guy with the most bucks wins!

Texas figured out a way to come very close to taxing stupidity. We are still working on this, taxing stupidity, if we figure it out completely we'll never have another deficit.
