Video of Genesis....Moving It's Ass !!!!!
I'm Sorry I think the SS is going to be out-handled.....I know this stupid to say when there's no review on the SS yet....but for a 3800ish pound muscle car to keep up with .....

Just because your Charger is fat, doesn't mean our Camaro won't be able to handle. No jumping the gun until we get some more info. Does this Genesis have a ring time yet?
But maybe... it does stand a chance. You just like bench racing don't you?

Watch the video review from consumer reports on the G8 GT if you have any doubts about Camaro's abilities. Keep in mind that the Camaro has chassis improvements over the G8 as well.

bench racing - racing by numbers, statistics, and supposition instead of on the track.

Wow. Yeah gotta admit, that would be a bit difficult for the heavy Camaro to match. That just might be the canyon carver I need.

Bench racing is racing on paper, or magazine racing. Not actual side by side comparos.
Also, if a Cruze SS comes to light, i bet it would hold its own against the genesis... or just bring back the Sky/Solstice!

Oh, please... stuff a professional stunt driver in the Camaro LT, and I bet he can flip the tail out just like that, too.
![]() I get that everyone's got an eye on this car......but come on! The SS will flog this little upstart. You just watch!

Try the same thing with this pair's predecessors of 1970 or so and you'll find yourself in a bit of a wrestling match. Ain't progress wonderful? Maybe yes, and maybe sometimes it's fun to wrestle."
